Impressive stuff... i'm unsure you need to change the armour plates, looks good to me, but if i was to i'd go for some sort of sandy gold, or make them like some sort non metallic plate using a complimentary to the green... red would be the most striking, purple, a bit jokerish , orange... hmmm, lots of possibilities.... oh, this is your comp entry... paint it putrid pink with yellow spots

I prefer it as it is now. Your painting has noticably improved.

I would have to agree with the consensus--I like the colors you have chosen. If I were to make a change...I think a lighter brown would be a good alternative.

That is a really cool eldar, i lovr the sculpt and the bright painting, i think i may have to try one of these and try to paint in this style... just for the fun. You are really brave with the Typhus, lots of extra Nurglish bits, i think you should try not putting him together until finished as it makes painting easier...at the moment he makes my attempt look like a fairy

I like the elder a lot--the colors look very good. The blue hair on the winged man gives it a nice anime feel.

Looks great mate, is that nmm gold on the end of the staff, it if is it needs to go more towards white to get the gold look but if not it is just fine.

It is a good start to the NMM mate, I realy don't like the sculpt so I'll be interested to see how you manage this one.

Good start The base colour for the nmm is excellent but quite a few highlights and hotspots away from being convincing nmm... is this a gw elf

Yup it is a GW Elf, I am not a big fan of the Warhammer Elf range myself.

Hi, long time no see... but i'm currently studyintg to get my A-Level and so i wasn't here for a very long time.... but now i am back because i found some time between my exams to paint.... Heres my eldar in a new colour scheme hope you like it.... (on note: i painted on the pure metal because my basecoat spray was empty ) P.S. i tested some kind of freehand on the back... but i am still not sure wether i take this one or not... regards scarifice

Yeah it's quite nice mate, freehand's a bit hard to make out tho.

Post by scarifice on Dec 7, 2007 18:39:33 GMT
yes thats true.. but the freehand i so dark because it was just a test and i wanted to see how it would look when it's done and if it was too light it would be hard to paint something over it again...

Riiight, from what I can see it look good, I'd go with it all over the cloak.

I like it the dark subtle freehand makes it look more menacing IMO and contrasts well with the brighter colours on the front.
