I think Tactical legs are the ones to go with, I don't see a problem however if someone wants to use assault legs. But I'll let Bru decide as he got the whole paint off thing going in the first place.

Ok kool then if Zappy can send to Andre and Bru I'll have a chainsword off you mate if that is ok? Yep NP mate, will get one in the post to you, Monday. Didn't answer the question about the colour schemes, any Codex or Non Codex, or self made Scheme is allowed, BUT, it must conform to the WH40K world, no silly Hello Kitty or Care Bear schemes please, this is serious stuff folks, LOL!!!! ;D Tactical legs only please, lets keep these Marines looking a similar as possible folks, please. Maybe another time we could do an assault marine paint off.

cool, just wanted to make sure so when i come to build it i dont wack them on, there are so many little extra's for marines you need to know these things lol like studded shoulder pads etc

As basic as it comes, but extras like knives, grenades, and pouches are allowed, but you have to remember some folks may not have all the spare bits you have. Simple is best. Although I have a mass of Marine parts, mine will be built with standard parts, found in a tactical marine box, nothing more nothing less, no forgeworld parts, no sculpted shoulder pads, nor GS parts. Keep is possible for anyone who has the basic marine parts to enter, this si a paintoff, not a build off or sculpt off.

ok I don't have a m'rine that fulfills the requirements of the paintoff. So I will not take part of it. Going to work on my 'nids so they can feed on your marines

Would like to do a 'nids paint off at some point in time. Something simple like a gaunt from the macragge box set.

When it starts, it will run for 2 weeks, no longer. No extensions sorry, then the voting will run for a week.
Hopefully Matt will take all the pics this time, and set up the vote?

Once Tim announces that he did indeed get the piece he needed last night (sorry again mate) , and can offically start on his, then it's a go!!! Personally I would say lets make Saturday 22nd the offical kick off day for this paintoff, and it will run two weeks, so the finish date would be Sat 6th Oct. If that's OK with everyone?
