World Of Minis Miniature Exchange Sign Up Thread

I have been fairly pleased with the result of the discussion about this so far and decided to open up a sign up thread. Firstly let me outline the idea, some of you who have been involved in this on Cmon will know the general idea. So here we go

General Guidelines[/u]

The idea of a mini exchange is exactly as it sounds. Most of us aquire miniatures over time that we have not painted for one reason or another (for some of us that is very true). So the idea is that those who are willing take part in an exchange program. Firstly members will join up and state where they live and where they are wiling to post to so an example of this would be

The list hopefully will then grow. As each person that wants to take part signs up I will update the list accordingly.
The general idea is the first person on the list posts a mini/s to the second person and so on and so on until the end of the list and then the last person posts to the first thus completing the posting circle.
Each person should post at least one unpainted miniature, two or more is entirely up to the person posting, I generally give a selection myself but then I have the resources to do that. Your minimum obligation therefore is one mini after that it is up to you. But the minis should be unpainted and in good condition.
You should not go and buy something specifically for this but again that is entirely up to the poster I know that members of Cmon have done that in the past.
Then when each person receives there packet they take pics post up what they receive and then paint at least one (if they have received more than one) of the minis and then display them here. WIP's are good too to see what we each make of the item we receive.
Remember these simple guidelines

The Minis Must Be Unpainted And In Good Condition And Complete[/u]

Also be aware that what you send is kept by the person receiving.

yep i think we are to good to start - though i take it i am posting to tadme right? the thing is if this is done in time for salute i belive he will be there so would i be allowed to give him what ever directly in the flesh if thats ok with him?

Ok the mini exchange will start officially on April 16th, that is next Monday. So you can post to your posting partners then.
The idea will be to get at least one mini painted and displayed here. Feel free to post regular WIP's along the way.
If this turns out to be a success I might then run subsequent ones for those that are interested. Try to give your posting partner something that interests him/her.
I will leave it open until say mid June then that gives people a bit of breathing space for those that are entering the painting contest as well.

Yup spot on, you got it bud, and then he posts to the next and so on and so on until the last person then sends to me. remeber you don't have to wait to receive before you post otherwise it could take forever.
Please give people a chance before saying that they haven't been in contact, but after a sensible amount of time if there is a weak link in the chain then it will be addressed.
It will be courteous to pm each other to get addresses and interests and the like.
Read the guidelines and make sure you understand the process before jumping in. Any queries drop me a pm and I will clarify anything that needs clarifying.
