Having come back to fantasy after such a long time, believe it or not i am only reading the Drizzt books by Salvatore for the first time... i began with buying the illustated version of 'Homeland' which i enjoyed so much i had to get the novel... i've been reading it like an orc after manflesh, it's awesome and so well written. And so alas i've been inspired to add dark elves to my shopping list and use inspiration from the Drizzt imagery.. i do have a project in the pipeline to convert a 54mm Drizzt character but i was wondering if there are any Drizzt minis out there available to buy??? I did the Google thing with no joy and the D&D range doesn't have a single although you can buy Guenhwyvar, but i don't even know the scale of these figs! Any drizzt fans out there with that elusive link to make my day!

You know I have never read them and I think I am missing something there, have they been translated into English do you know, if so I would like to give them a try.

I'd highly recommend a try Tim. The books are published in English by Wizards of the Coast for the 'Forgotten Realms' Series'. There are about 15 Drizzt books in all but it would be best to start with 'Homeland, The Legend of Drizzt Book 1' by R.A.Salvatore.. Good luck

Fantastic books, I got into them years ago, and enjoyed them so much I chose one of the characters names for my webname, Bruenor, the bad tempered dwarf, and have stuck with it. Which ones have you read? I even made an action figure of Drizzt many many years ago: Although the Guen' was a bit on the small side I did replace her with one from the Early Learning Centre.

I've only read 'Homeland' (although twice now!) but i anticipate getting through them all if the standard remains as this Love the fig (some scimitars on him!!);D i've been diving through sites looking for a suitable convo and think reaper have some great possibilities but the best has to be Andreas Ithrandir... great idea with Guen, i'll have to check out the scale next time i'm buying toys for the nephew, i would like Guen to be of a slightly 'superhero' scale
