Thanks matty that is great and will I think make a nice display for Ghazgul Thraka (that is a 40mm round whole in the middle isn't it?). I have been toying with the idea if Matt is up for it of haing individual unit plinths for 5 models at a time so that when not in use the force will have something cool to be displayeds upon, this might be a tall order but I think it could look ace, would it be possible to have a plinth that fits 10 models a time? If I am talking daft just tell me.

Hey, I've had an idea, shall I set up a quick forum to discuss this so it doesn't clog up WoM? Everyone involved can join up and others can read and if they are interested they can join too!

Yeah definitely, I'm just wondering whether it would be good to have a separate forum just for the project so everything is easier to find!
Well, this is Tim's project, so I'll wait to see what he thinks!

Ok I was thinking this very thing, Raccy set up a forum first with a sticky (locked thread) in that before you lock it put up a list of all that are participating and what they are painting against their names, this then can be updated by the admin as required, you can then put up a project discussion thread to toss ideas around, also in the forum we will have the WIP threads that people are posting of their work, this then will keep everything under one roof so to speak. Matt we should no exactly what is being done well before your deadline and anything that happens after that well I'll cross that bridge if and when it happens. How does that sound.

Hmm--I'll have to see how the display bases go...once I see them put together (not necessarily painted), I may have a go at one. Never done one before, and I think I would enjoy it. Don't put me down for one just yet, Tim. I don't want to bring down the quality of these awesome looking bases. If it is bad, I'll just chalk it up to a learning experience.

wominneed.proboards61.com/index.cgiThat's it, the boards/categories need to be created, but you guys can join up (especially you Tim, you can decide what boards you want). The project is now named "WoM In Need 07" by the way, hence the name of the forum.

Mmm not quite what I meant there Raccy but thanks for giving it a go, I would like to have the forum on here still, that way members don't need to re-register on another forum to post and the like. I think what I should have said was let us have a new Category on WOM, I'll make that now and then we can start adding the bits and bobs there.

Note to all, though Raccy did a good job of creating this I have now created a sub-board in the community events forum for the Children in need project, please post your threads there and over the next day or so I will move this and one or two WIPs to the same area.
Thanks.

Sorry mate my mistake I didn't word it quite right, if you like Raccy you can start to move the various threads to the right place mate.

Aye I'll do that... it's just I can't actually get into the admin panel as just a moderator, meaning I can't edit boards, meaning I couldn't add a sub-board anyway!

Ok mate well the sub board is there now and I think in future that is where all posts related to the Children In need project needs to go. I think we just have this one and Daggy's WIP thread to place in there now.

@greenstuffguy a grot cannon actually would be ace, in fact I might add a couple myself and make a unit, that would then count as a heavy support choice I think.

mid if I do some other stuff too as I have bucketloads of free time, I could do a connon or two, Zzap gun and lobba? and (maybe) som grotz if I have time. How does that sound, alternatively I could do a whole squad of canons or a whole squad of grotz, maybe both *doubtfull*

GSG I'll leave it down to you how many items you could do, a unit of artillery would be cool I think it is between one and three pieces for a unit, I'll check on that, anything else you want to do will be gladly accepted thanks.
