I thought it would be fun to hear how everyone found this Exellent site and why they joined. My own little history goes like this. I had rescently started to paint non LOTR minis and wanted to find a good place to show my minis and get tips to improve them and so on. when I only painted LOTR I did this On One-ring (another great site). time went by and i still had not found a place I liked. Then after a couple of months I saw Tim's post in the "come see my website thread"on OR. It was just what I had been looking for! And I joined ASAP ow lets hear you stories Cheers, Razh

Wandered over after seeing a note from Tim over at CMoN--and have spending more time here than most any other painting site on the 'net ever since!

Glad you like it guys, I was asked on a forum why the net needed another miniature orientated site, to which I replied that you could never have too many sites promoting the hobby. It is difficult sometimes to talk about things that have not already been talked about on other sites but we saeem to be ticking over quite nicely, the community is small with a small amount of regular posters but for me that makes it more personal. It has the lets meet down the pub for a few beers feelabout it that I like.

Both me and Menace was members on CMON, and we had talked a little bit. One day I got a PM from Menace where he told me about WoM and said I should join. So I joined, and here I am, half a year later, with soon 400 posts ;D

Like matty, I saw Tim's post over at CMoN about the CIN charity. I looked over the site and really liked what I saw. So far it's been great, informative and fun. I hope to be allowed to stick around for quite a while.

I saw a link on CMON awhile back and signed up as james1225. Havnt been on for awhile and then Tim mentioned the children in need work so I popped on and decided to make a proper account to fit in with my accounts on other sites.

Like many, on O-R..... Tim's new site came just at the right time for me as i was looking to expand my hobby from just LOTR. Unfortunately i don't have the time now for O-R but i highly recommend it as a friendly site for LOTR fans
