Since the last crossbowman I posted here I've done a few more sculpts--none too successful for a variety of reasons. I never thought I would do non-medieval minis but I've decided to try something new. I am going to do WWI Russians. There have a been a few ranges of these but none of the figures are that impressive and I think I could be successful. My goal is to complete at least six figures by the new year. Considering that it takes me at least 2-3 weeks to do the average mini this may eem a lot, but I will have Christmas/ new years week off and will sculpt as much as possible! I've started the first one and I'm only up to one leg but I'm very happy with the way it turned out. After the first riflemen/grenadiers are done I plan to do tropps with gas masks on and possible flamethrowers...I'll post up the work here as I finish each figure.
If anyone here happens to be an expert ont he subject I've been unable to find good info on Russian flamethrowers in WWI-any information would be appreciated. Cheers

Interesting, I have alot of books on both World Wars and will see if I can find anything for you, I don't remember seeing any pictures of Russian Flame throwers though.
