Hey guys, im 15 and ive been paibting for about three years now, just to give you an idea of what I was like when I first started heres one of the first mini's I painted: Then about half year a go I was at this stage where id just started to learn how to do freehand and good highlights: Then...same model but painted again and finished yesterday I finally have got the hang of smooth highlighting, next on my list is to study light sources: brings back good memories ay?

Wow! You have come far in just 3 years. Great looking minis. I wish I could have painted like that 20 years ago... ;D.

I think that most people would wish that they could paint that well at the age you are, it is nice to see your progression and also to see that you seem to have picked things up very quick.

Thanks guys, all I did was worry too much about not being able to paint that well so I kept trying new technoques and researching ways of improving by reading articles and leanring in more detail. Maybe if I keep doing that I should get better.

Improving is always a good goal to have, but never let that become your main focus, remember that the most important thing is to enjoy the hobby anything after that is a bonus.

I bet there are alot of people MY age who wish they could paint that well . Practice makes perfect, and these youngin's pick up things much quicker than some of us "old" codgers.
