Looks like i'm the sad ol' git that is not into Rackham then! Yes.. i admire the craftmanship but we all have our ideas of how fantasy should be and for me rackham is becoming a one style horse with a lot of costumes none of which fit my loving of Runequest/Dragonlance/Drizzt etc
So ther you are.... but by god maybe i'm just shit scared of painting them!

Nope, it's rubbish IMO. Also, they haven't done their research, as in mythology and chimera normally has the head of a lion, a goat's body and the behind of a snake.

Nope, Chimera is the name for any mythical animal with parts taken from various animals, its a collective term, but has became commonly known with the Greek mythodology which was the female monster with a lions head, goat's body and snakes tail. |

Just say it is crap in your opinion then, we all have a right to what we think. I think the painted version though technically brilliant doesn't really suit the mini.
