'ello Gents and ladies! When I got Bob Olleys Dwarf World minis some time ago i decided I wanted to make somthing special with them. I just love that range I Decided to make a big diorama featuring all Dwarf World minis availible. So in this thread I will show you the progress. I have not anything really interesting to show of the little scene as of yet, just pink foam hehe. but I have started to paint some of the minis. I am currently working on this Fisherman( err fisherdwarf). the tunic is not finished yet, I have a couple of highlight yet to do. the beard look better IRL, btw Thanks for looking, Andre

Thats looking really good, I like your choice of natural colours. I notice you've even put the fishing line on the rod, nice touch. I'm looking forward to seeing your diorama

Thanks guys ;D It was a real pain to drill the small holes for the fishing line, I tell ya. a good thing the drill broke after the 2nd hole, made it sharper ;D Anyway, here is a quick update:

That's quite nice that is, kinda in my style, but a little darker. The mud is a nice touch.

Nice colour on the dress, not too keen on the eyes, but as you've said it's a wip. What colours you going for with the apron, and headscarf?

I've already told you this but it can be repeated: these minis rock and you are getting better at every stroke! this dwarfworld will have some really bad-ass minis in the end.

Thanks yeah I had some trouble with the eyes, I think I will redo them at a later stage. As for the apron I think I will go for something similar to what you did on yours, James. something cream like, not decided yet, I will have to see what looks good and wahta not. and at the moment I have no idea on what colourto use on the head scarf. Any suggestions? Thanks, Andre

Andre, what a great looking bunch of dwarfs mate. I absolutely love the subtlety of the black beard, really strikes that particular dwarf home...
Do you have a link to these particular brand of mini's?

okay, what do you think about this old lady? I still got to fix some of my small mistakes, like the light dot on her dress just above he apron on her back, before I put her in the show case section. If you have any suggestions, think I have chosen the wrong colour somewere please tell me ;D Thanks For looking Andre

Nah look fine buddy. The washing is a nice contrast to the red, and the scarf seem to fit nicely.

thanks Mikkel okay, here is another update, still nothing of the diorama itself though. the beard looks less flat IRL. it less orange now, a bit more realistic I think but I'm not quite there yet, though I think I will leave this as it is now so I don't screw everything up. anyway enough talk here are the pics Thanks for looking EDIT: oh yes, eyes still not finished
