I was wondering what u people around the world are watching/have been watching regarding to movies/TV-shows etc. lately? have you got anything to recommend? something that we should try to avoid? I will start this of with: Me and my 11 year old daughter went to the movies and saw "The Golden Compass" and I must say WOW! this is my kind of movie, cyberpunk-fantasy-kind of reel... if you like Harry Potter, LOTR and anything alike then this should be something for you. imdb.com/title/tt0385752/

hmmm, I don't watch the telly more than once a week, and thats when there is about how to raise dogs to be good dogs I tend to watch moviesat the week end nights, mostly comedies, adventure/fantasy and a little action. Th last one I watched was Mr Bean om holiday, I highly recommend it if you're a Rowan Atkinson fan

Last thing I really watched/followed was Heroes. TV for me is mostly on for having a background noise while I am painting. For the rest I can't stand the reality crap they seem to invent and copy from channel to channel.

The Golden Compass is a great movie - never read the books myself but apprarantly they are nothing like them, but then again, that's expected...
But yeah, Heroes has been the main thing which I was watching - soooo sad its ended! But it is seriously awesome, when it comes out on DVD I'm definitely buying it!
Other than that, not a big TV watcher myself, but sometimes, there are things which come on which get you hooked and are impossible to miss! However, Christmas time is coming up and although there's a lot of rubbish on at this time of year there are also many classics on.
Just my recommendations...

Watched training day last night, this a great movie.
As for the telly box goes, my only required tv watching is ER, 24 and current affairs type programs. I don't know when I suddenly got so interested in the workings of the Irish house of parliment, but it scares me.

It is ace, my favourite one of the Star Trek genres. It starts a little slow but mid way through it starts getting really interesting especially when the Dominion war starts.
