I forgot to reply to the question asked by Talonicus, keep the colours earthy, I don't really want to see any outlandish colour schemes. Bases I still have plenty of. I am now going to admit defeat, there is no way I can meet the deadline. Work and other outside commitments have conspired to take alot of my painting time and therefore I cannot get done by the date set. I am sure I am not the only one. I propose extending the deadline a little to give me time to finish.

Working on my ork nob in mega armour. I have added some red bits. Is that okay? I want to limit my palette to earthy colours, but I have based the "teeth" on his facemask, shoulders and some armour plates on his arms red. "Kuz da red bitz makes thingz go fasta ya know!"

I am fine with extending the deadline. The sooner the better, but obviously we want to put together a quality army to get the most money for the kids. If putting it off a bit will allow everyone to get some more work done, that's fine with me! EDIT: I personally think some red is fine--it adds a bit of contrast to the green skin. Here is what I did with my pair of burna boyz:

Small areas of red are ok, but don't go too overpowering with it as red is associated with the kult of speed and this is supposed to be a neutral force that anyone can pick up and use.

Ok here is a bit more of one of my Ork nobs. Probably my last pics for awhile as just too damn busy with work. Although saying that I expect to get them done within a couple of weeks. Nigel

Ummm Well I just paint a grid them fill em in. Its the corners of the squares that are important. You need to make sure they are sharp and just the points touching. This makes the rest look good. Does that make sense?

Yup. Sounds simple enough...maybe I'll try it with less caffeine next time.

Just letting everyone know that the Stormboyz are done (sorry, no pics just yet). I've sent them on to Jabberwocky who is giving them a bit of a special treatment and then sending them on to Tim. He should have some pics up before too much longer.

Right I am officially extending the project as my work load is keeping me away from painting and I will not get done by the deadline, it is a shame but unavoidable. I am going to aim to get done by the time the new Ork Codex is released which is December I think and then I will include that with the Orks that are painted and received by then. The delay will not affect the intent as donations can be given to Children In Need any time.

I know this might be a stupid question, but can I join in? It doesn't matter for me what I have to paint, I just want to contribute to this great project/idea. If I get a quick reply, I can order the miniature(s) today and try to get it done in no time:)

I could do some boyz Andre, But when I was looking trough the list of painters and what they are painting I saw that JNR is painting the warbos, and since he has somehow deleted his profile here on WoM and CMON I thought I could to a warboss.. But as you said Andre, its up to Tim. I'll send you a PM if I need boyz, and I'll make sure you get something snazy in trade:)

Jnr had some personal issues to over come hence whyhe left every website he was a part of but i do still get an email every now and then from him and he is still doing the warboss so that spot is still taken . . . . but the more boys the better ! ! ! ! ! Okay, nice to know he is doing well:) But there is none who is doing killer kans right? Because I think I can get hand of some for a decent price... I'll check it out, and if I cant get hold of them I'll just go for boyz:)
