Here it is the next Wom contest.
This is realy just a bit of fun and therefore no real restrictions will be imposed. You can enter anything that falls into the greenskin category ie Orcs, Goblins, Snotlings they can be from any manufacturer and also either Fantasy, Steampunk, Sci-Fi basically any genre and also any scale so this would include the larger minis from say Andrea. The only real restriction I will impose is that the work must be new, stared within the last couplle of weeks before the official opening date. As this is for fun there are no prizes but we will do the 1st, 2nd and 3rd voting thing again and if I am feeling generous as it is Christmas I may send something to the winner. As with all contests the main idea is just to have fun, showing wips of your models in a contest WIp thread will be welcomed, I certainly intend to do this when I have decided what I am going to enter. Now for the duation time of the contest. I think that the oficial opening of the contest should be Monday the 27th of November 06 ie this Monday coming and the closing will be mmmm shal we say December 30th although that is not set in stone and if people are struggling to finish their entries then I can extend it. Hopefully then I will see some interesting stuff, also please feel free to advertise this around the place as the more people we can get taking part the better.

Is there a restriction on how many pieces we can enter? As I have a couple of snotlings kickiing about and thought I may have a stab at them as well as a normal Orc, or and 40k Ork.

Enter as many as you like but there will only be one fist second and third place. But the more entries we get the more interesting it will become I think.

I'll be entering this, have a nice little goblin I've been working on. Just his base to be done now. Anyone got any advice on how to do a simple snow base?

Same Advice as tim, Bicarbonate soda/ Baking soda but not Baking Powder! mixed with pva to a gritty paste. If you find it dries out a bit transparent, dry brush it with Skull white and then coat again with the mix, sprinkle some bicarbonate on top b4 dry.. hey presto!
