Upper right--my first ever sculpt- almost 2.5 years ago upper left--my first sculpt with much definition, the mouth of sauron (looks nothing like it) middle--some none-too smooth cloaks bottom--this was a "dwarf" which was so small I went back to 28mm after slowly drifting to smaller sizes. About a year old. This stuff is appalingly poor. I had no idea about proportion, armetures, drying time, ect. I have bins and bins of these. There must be over a hundred!

Lol your appallingly poor is still much better than my amazingly best. But having your newer sculpts I can see how much you have progressed, speaking of which I will have to get on with them.

I agree with TC, this stuff is actually not so bad... I'd really like to see your more recent work, do you have a pic or a link? I really admire you for sticking it out through the horrendously steep learning curve of green stuff. I took one sculpting class where I was told how to sculpt a head. 30 minutes later my sculpted head and my real head looked about the same, since I'd spent all that time hitting it against a wall! It actually looked very similar to the handle of one of the members here: a mutant potato. I vowed to never try to sculpt a head again. You are a very brave person! LOL

That's probably still better than anything I could do!
