Well Marvel has almost completed their big Mutant X-Over "The Messiah Complex".
It's a 13 part X-book storyline that has been going on since before Christmas. In the Marvel universe babies are no longer being born with the Mutation gene so in essence Mutants are on their way to becoming extinct. But wait! A new mutant baby has been detected and everybody wants it! ( hence the title ) The baby is being hunted by the good mutants and bad mutants and the good and bad humans. Who will get the prize??? Well c'mon this is super hero land! 'm not an X guy but I got suckered in by fan boy hype, but if you are an X fan you prolly are reading along with me. The story has been going through all the X books so we have had different writers and artists and mostly the art has been good! The writing has been OK for the most part, I enjoyed World War Hulk much more... As for the Messiah Complex Storyline X-fans are already reading it but if you aren't I'd wait for a "discounted" graphic novel that is sure to follow. Overall the series gets a 6.5 outta 10 on the Reddog-O-meter ArrOOoo

Thanks for the review mate, I haven't read a Marvel story for a long time now. I really ought to change that though.

nice! I love comics so I can't for the world understand how I missed theese threads about comics...
I particulary like Batman (the newer darker ones), Blueberry, Tintin, Spirou, Gaston, Elfquest and a whole bunch more... and then there are many very good Swedish comics.
Collected comics on regulary basis for years but haven't for a while now, gotta dig out them of the un-opened boxes I haven't touched since we moved like 2 years ago.

I wish I had kept all mine, I had every Star Wars weekly from, no 1 until the release of Jedi, I also had 2000AD from no 1 as well as a fistfull of others, the only comic I have left is one that my wife bought me as a present one year for our anniversary which was the very first issue of the Kiss comic.

Well you missed an interesting Batman crossover recently (don't those comic book companies love their crossovers!?!) One of Batman's best post 1970 nemesis is back! But will he stay??? Ra's Al Ghul the master of Assassins is back! But barely... Rhas has been brought back from the beyond by his followers (I am assuming using the "Prometheus Pit" (forgive me I am a Bat fan but only pick up the big story arcs...) Ra's Al Ghul's "essence-soul-being" is inhabiting a decaying body and he needs a "new younger body" to live again.... Who will his target be? Read this 11 part story to find out! I enjoyed the crossover, I've always been of fan of "the Ghul's" and the Bat's relationship with the Ghul's daughter Talia... Hey the Bat even has a kid with her!?! I didn't know this till reading this storyline... So the Bat is fighting his son's Grandfather... it's great! If you are a fan of the Bat it is a "must read" even if you aren't a fan of the Bat there is some great story and art here! The x-over concluded last week but you can pick up the second print run being publish as we speak or pick up the graphic novel when it comes out! A 8 outta 10 on the Reddog-O-meter
